Massive blow for AC Milan as 25 million euros signing from Atalanta suffered a serous knee injury. Andrea Conti underwent surgery today and assured the fans that everything went fine.
Six months without Andrea Conti. Milan’s right back suffered a serious injury (cruciate ligament rupture) yesterday in training and this morning he underwent surgery. Everything went well. Now begins the long and difficult period of rehabilitation.
Conti wrote a beautiful post on Instagram a few hours ago but that was not enough. AC Milan, through their Twitter profile, released a video in which the former Atalanta defender thanked fans for the many messages received: “I wanted to thank you for the messages and for the affection you are showing me. This gives me the strength to face this match with great determination. Thankfully the operation went well, i wanted to be tomorrow at San Siro, but doctors do not allow me. I’ll cheer from home. A hug to everyone, Forza Milan.“
