Tuttosport, Milan agree terms with Rafinha
Milan continue to search for a quality signing in the midfielder. According to Tuttosport the rossoneri have agreed terms with Rafinha, now Barcelona remains to be convinced.
To who has any doubts, rest assured, AC Milan’s mercato is not closed yet. With Kalinic’s recent arrival the attack is complete. The defense is also in place, with Gustavo Gomez remaining (unless an important offer comes). In the midfield, however, there is still something to improve. The organic could be further expanded and at least one reinforcement is needed. The goal, according to Tuttosport, is to sign a midfielder who can act as an attacking winger if necessary.
All roads lead to Rafinha, the 24 year old Brazilian part of Barcelona. Despite Marco Fassone’s denial, the rossoneri have had continuous contact with the player in the recent days. According to Tuttosport, the former Celta Vigo has given his willingness for such a transfer, intrigued by the idea of trying a new adventure in red and black. Milan have found an agreement with the player but the formula should be that of the loan with the right and not with the obligation to buy. Rafinha, in fact, returning from a bad injury, is looking for a new team that can provide him more space and continuity. Play time in Barcelona has been hard to find.
After getting the ok of the Brazilian, AC Milan are ready to advance to the next step: finding a deal with Barcelona. In contrast to Rafinha, however, Barça would not be very supportive of the loan with right to buy hypothesis. The match is open, if Milan manage to sell the players that are considered redundant, they could have the necessary economic resources to sign the midfielder permanently.
Rafinha Alcántara, who is brother of Bayern Munich’s midfielder Thiago, joined Barcelona’s youth ranks at the age of 13. With the first team he has played 78 games and has scored 11 goals. Three years ago he was loaned at Celta Vigo where he had the best season of is career so far. An interesting player that can improve a lot in the future.
