TS: Torino ready to accept reasonable fee for Belotti
Torino are willing to accept a lower fee for Andrea Belotti. The AC Milan target is currently playing with the Italian national team.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic has left the hospital after the knee surgery. The doctors decided that surgery was the only option to overcome the recent physical struggles. Now a long recovery period begins for the Swedish striker and Ibra could miss the beginning of next season.
The situation in attack is complicated for the Rossoneri. Ibrahimovic is the only available centre forward. AC Milan are in negotiations with Olivier Giroud but everything depends on Chelsea’s decision to terminate his contract for free. Paolo Maldini’s top pic, Dusan Vlahovic, has a prohibitive price tag of €60 million but Andrea Belotti is a much more affordable.
The 27-year-old Italian will leave Torino this summer after refusing to renew his contract. His current agreement runs down in one year and Torino are forced to sell Belotti or otherwise risk loosing him for free in 2022.
Torino have already rejected an offer of €18 million from Roma (15 million plus 3 in bonuses). The Granata are asking for 30 million. However, an offer of 20 millions cash plus one player as technical counterpart will be enough for Torino reports Tuttosport. A resonable figure for one of the best strikers in Italy.
Last season Andrea Belotti scored 13 goals and assisted 7 in 35 Serie A appearances with Torino. Belotti is currently busy with the Italian national team at EURO 2020. In 34 appearances with Italy he has scored 12 goals.
