Tomorrow’s match between AC Milan and Chelsea will also be exploited by the two clubs to discuss transfer business.
There is great anticipation for tomorrow’s Chelsea vs AC Milan. A very important match for both clubs who aim to progress to the knockout stages of the Champions League. Another match will be held off the pitch with Tuttosport claiming that there is a lot of unfinished business between the two clubs.
The Blues were very interested in Portuguese winger Rafael Leao during the summer. An informal offer of €80 million was on the table but AC Milan insisted that Leao would not leave unless his €150 million was activated. On the other hand, AC Milan are keen on Chelsea duo Hakim Ziyech and Armando Broja.
Chelsea have not lost sight on Leao. Blues coach Graham Potter spared no praise recently commenting on the Portuguese winger. “I’ve been really impressed with Rafa Leao whenever I’ve watched Milan games, he’s a top player. In terms of what happens in the future, who knows whether he can do this in Premier League or not. He’s got the capability, for sure“.
Meanwhile, the Rossoneri have two Chelsea players on their radar. The first is an old target. AC Milan continue to keep tabs on Hakim Ziyech. The winger has been linked to AC Milan for a long time but a transfers has not materialized yet. Ziyech is totally out of Chelsea’s plans and could be available on loan in January as Milan need to add a new wright winger to their ranks.
The second one is Armando Broja. The 21-year-old is considered the next big thing of English football. Broja returned to Chelsea this summer after two great seasons with Vitesse and Southampton. It has not been easy for the Albania international to establish himself at Chelsea with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Sterling the number one choices in attack. His price tag is close to €40 million.
