AC Milan have a long list of names to replace Hakan Calhanoglu. From Ziyech to Sabitzer and Rodriguez reports Tuttosport.
The Rossoneri need to find a new number 10 for Stefano Pioli, after the “betrayal” of Hakan Calhanoglu who joined Inter. According to Tuttosport, AC Milan are looking for an attacking midfielder that can replace the Turkish in the 4-2-3-1 formation of the Emilian coach.
At the same time AC Milan are about to close the return of Brahim Diaz. The Spanish talent will be back under Pioli’s orders on loan but this time Milan will have an option to sign him permanently from Real Madrid. Nevertheless, Brahim Diaz is not projected to be the starting attacking midfielder so the Rossoneri’s plans do not change.
ZIYECH IN POLE POSITION? – At the moment, Tuttosport reports that AC Milan have seven players under observation but the list could shrink or lengthen over the next few weeks. Hakim Ziyech is perhaps the profile that most excites Paolo Maldini and company.
Chelsea are open to sell the 28-year-old but are asking a high transfer fee of €35 million for the Morocco international. Hakim Ziyech is not considered a key player for coach Tuchel so Chelsea could accept loan with the right or obligation to buy. The new name is is that of Sampdoria’s wonderkid Mikkel Damsgaard. The Dane can play in all positions behind the striker and is considered an “Elliott” profile (young, valuable and with great prospects).
THE OTHER TARGETS – As mentioned, there are other players being carefully examined: Zaccagni of Verona, Rafinha of Paris Saint-Germain, Sabitzer of Red Bull Leipzig and Dani Ceballos of Real Madrid. The most interested name could be James Rodriguez who is looking to leave Everton. The Colombian’s agent, Jorge Mendes, has already offered his services to Milan.
