AC Milan are battling Manchester United for the services of goalkeeping prodigy Vincent Angelini.
For a long time AC Milan have been trying to renew Gianluigi Donnarumma’s contract. The Rossoneri want to tie down the Italian goalkeeper for many years. At the same time the management is trying to find talented players that can replicate Gigio’s success between the posts.
The Sun reports that AC Milan have joined the race for Vincent Angelini. The 17-year-old Celtic starlet is considered one of the most promising goalkeepers of his generations.
Angelini is Scottish with clear Italian origins. The player has decided not to renew his contract with Celtic Glasgow and will join a new club at the end of the season.
AC Milan have inquired about his situation with Geoffrey Moncada very attentive on young players with great potential. The Rossoneri will make an offer in the coming weeks. Vincent Angelini could be the long term replacement of Gigio Donnarumma.
However, the interest in Angelini is high with Manchester United having made an approach. Everton and Southampton are the other two English clubs interested in the 17-year-old goalkeeper together with Lazio and Atalanta from Italy.
