Former AC Milan coach Marco Giampaolo has completed the signing of left back Ricardo Rodriguez for Torino.
The first signing of Marco Giampaolo as the new coach of Torino comes from AC Milan. As expected, Torino have secured the services of Swiss left back Ricardo Rodriguez.
After returning from the loan at PSV Eindhoven, Rodriguez will be immediately sold to Torino. As confirmed by MilanNews.it, the parties have reached a total agreement today.
Swiss international Ricardo Rodriguez will move to Torino for a fee of 3 million euros plus add-ons. The 27-year-old defender will sign a four-year contract of 1.5 million per season plus bonuses.
Thus the adventure of Rodriguez at AC Milan has come to an end. In 2017, the Rossoneri spent 15 million to buy the Swiss international from Wolfsburg. The left back lost his starting spot after the arrival of Theo Hernandez from Real Madrid. He becomes Giampaolo’s first signing for Torino but other teammates may join him.
The former coach of AC Milan is very interested in Rade Krunic and Lucas Biglia. The Croatian midfielder has featured sparingly in his first season at San Siro but the Rossoneri would like to keep him. Biglia, on the other hand, is a free agent and open to join new club.
