Leonardo to ruin AC Milan’s midfield plans
Once again Leonardo is chasing the same transfer targets as AC Milan and wants to bring Tiemoue Bakayoko at Paris Saint Germain.
AC Milan still have open business in midfield. The Rossoneri must sign a new central midfielder before the end of the summer transfer window. At the same time, the club must find a new destination for Lucas Paqueta.
Regarding the arrivals, Tiemoue Bakayoko is the number one choice for a number of reasons. He has played in the past for Milan, knows well the team environment and is available initially on loan.
The Rossoneri have agreed personal terms with the player since June but Chelsea won’t let him ago unless a payment of at least 30 million euros is guaranteed. Now, Leonardo has entered the race and wants to snatch Bakayoko from his former club.
RMC Sport reports that the French giants have made important steps forward for the Chelsea midfielder. PSG want to sign Bakayoko on loan for one season with an option to buy.
In recent days Milan are exploring other names for the midfield. Maldini will not offer more than 23 million for Bakayoko while PSG have the financial power to match Chelsea’s asking price. Bakayoko too dones’t want to wait until the very last days for the transfer window to know his future. That’s why his “no time” post on Instagram is being interpreted as a direct message for Milan.
