AC Milan’s number one target for the defence

Fiorentina centre back Nikola Milenkovic is the number one target of AC Milan for the defence and the Rossoneri will soon present an offer.

AC Milan are looking for a central defender to partner with captain Alessio Romagnoli. Leo Duarte, who has suffered another injury and will be out for one month, is not convincing while his colleagues in defence, Mateo Musacchio and Simon Kjaer, are expected to leave. The only one certain to stay is the young Matteo Gabbia.

AC Milan are trying to exploit this period of football stop analyzing the transfer market in order to find for the perfect centre back. Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenkovic is a name that fits all requirements.

Milenkovic is young, (22-years-old) he has valuable experience in Serie A (has been playing with Fiorentina for the last three seasons) and has around 140 appearances to his name.

According to Todofichajes, Nikola Milenkovic is the number one target of AC Milan for the defence and the Rossoneri will shortly present an official offer to the Viola club. Fiorentina value Nikola Milenkovic at €30 million but the player has 2 years remaining in his contract.

In the last months, AC Milan have been in long talks regarding Lucas Paqueta. The Brazilian midfielder may be offered in exchange for Milenkovic while Italian right back Davide Calabria is another Rossoneri player in Fiorentina’s orbit.
