After Conti and Duarte, AC Milan have completed another defender sale. The details of the agreement.

Everything is completed for the transfer of AC Milan defender Mateo Musacchio to Lazio. After refusing an offer from Parma, the Argentine centre back have been convinced to join the Biancocelesti.

Musacchio is the player chosen by coach Simone Inzaghi to replace the injured Luiz Felipe. The transfer of Musacchio to Lazio will be officially announced tomorrow, after medicals are completed.

The Argentine defender has not been part of Stefano Pioli’s plans this season. He was supposed to leave last summer but his transfer to Valencia collapsed after an injury.

AC Milan will receive one million euros form the sale of Musacchio while the player will sign a six months contract until the end of the season with a renewal option for two more years.

After Leo Duarte at Istanbul Basaksehir and Andrea Conti at Parma, Musacchio becomes the third defender to leave. In the summer of 2017 AC Milan spent 18 million euros to purchase the 30-year-old from Villarreal. In his four season at San Siro he has made 75 appearances with the Rossoneri.
