AC Milan consider move for Inter player
AC Milan are planning changes in defence and the Rossoneri are looking at Inter for new signings.
AC Milan must make a couple of changes in the defence when the summer mercato opens. Besides the permanent signing of Fikayo Fomori, the Rossoneri plan to bring in two full backs to serve as back-ups for Theo Hernandez and Davide Calabria.
Diogo Dalot will return to Manchester United at the end of the season because Milan don’t want to meet their €20 million price tag while the future of Pierre Kalulu could be at the heart of the defence. Surprisingly, Calabria’s back-up could arrive from the other side of Milan.
RAI Sport reports that AC Milan are very interested in Inter right back Danilo D’Ambrosio. In the recent meeting his agent, Vincenzo Pisacane, Paolo Maldini has asked information about the future of the Italian defender.
The 32-year-old has not agreed a contract extension with the Nerazzurri and could leave at the end of the season on a free transfer. An experienced player, available for free, is an option that the management appreciates.
Danilo D’Ambrosio has played his entire career in Italy and for the past 8 seasons at Inter making over 200 appearances. Shortly before his Inter move in 2014 he was very close to joining the Rossoneri.
