AC Milan are very interested in Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic. The Rossoneri are reportedly willing to offer Leao plus cash to sign him.
AC Milan are about to renew the contract of Zlatan Ibrahimovic for one more year but the Rossoneri are already on the move to find a partner for him, for next season. Mario Mandzukic’s contract will not be extended. The Croatian striker, victim of physical problems that kept him out for a long time, has been unbale to give any contribution so far.
The top two targets for the Rossoneri are Andrea Belotti and Dusan Vlahovic. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara hope to count on the money from Champions League qualification and bring a top striker at San Siro.
Belotti is a much easier target due to his contract situation. Belotti’s deal expires in one year and the Italian striker has refused renewal proposals from Torino. Torino are forced to sell Andrea this summer or risk losing him for free in one year. Nevertheless, according to reports from Sportmediaset, Paolo Maldini and Massara prefer more Dusan Vlahovic.
The Fiorentina striker is rated at around 40 million euros. The 21-year-old is having a great season scoring 13 league goals so far. Convincing Fiorentina to sell one of the new stars of Serie A is not going to be easy but Sportmediaset journalist Claudio Raimondi believes AC Milan have a shot.
A swap deal involving Rafael Leao plus cash would be very tempting for Fiorentina. The Portuguese striker is at his second year at San Siro but even this season has been full of highs and lows. The Rossoneri are starting to lose patience and will not wait eternally for Leao to explode. Rafael Leao plus 10 million euros is reportedly enough to get Vlahovic in exchange.
