AC Milan are considering Juventus right winger Douglas Costa as a possible replacement for Suso in case the Spaniard leaves the Rossoneri this summer.
The permanence of Suso at San Siro for next season is in doubt. Interest in the Spanish winger is high among foreign clubs also because of his “low” release clause that allows any non-Italian team to buy the 25-year-old for 40 million euros.
AC Milan are in negotiations with his agent to sign a new contract but so far there hasn’t been any progress and the renewal seems far. In any case, if Suso leaves at the end of the season another big name will replace him at Milan.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, AC Milan are looking at possible replacements for Suso and Juventus star Douglas Costa is among the top targets of sporting director Leonardo.
The Brazilian is in his second year in Italy after Juventus paid 45 million euros to buy him from Bayern Munich. He has adapted really well to Serie A and in order to acquire his services the Rossoneri must pay Juventus 60 million for Douglas Costa.
The 31 times capped Brazil international has had problems with coach Allegri in the past that’s why Juventus are open to sell. Douglas Costa is known for his speed, explosive acceleration, dribbling and creativity. However the 28-year-old is not a goalscorer never finding the back of the net more than 7 times per season.
