TS: AC Milan complete third summer signing
AC Milan beat Inter and secure the services of Emanuel Vignato. The Chievo Verona starlet is one of Italy’s brightest prospects.
MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – In general silence, AC Milan have practically closed the third summer purchase: Emanuel Vignato from Chievo Verona. A signing that fits Elliott’s guidelines. Furthermore, the Rossoneri managed to snatch Vignato from city-rivals Inter.
Unlike what it was reported early this is going to be a cash-only operation without any technical counterparts included in the deal. The Rossoneri offered Chievo the opportunity to choose between three players: Mattia Gabbia, regular starting defender of Italy U-19, full-back Gian Filippo Felicioli, already protagonist of an adventure in Verona but at Hellas and 18 year old Gabriele Bellodi, another promising defender.
Parallel to the main shopping campaign, AC Milan are working underground for promising youngsters reports Tuttosport. The transfer of Emanuel Vignato from Chievo to AC Milan will cost 8 million euros. An important figure for an 18-year-old player.
Vignato is a product of Chievo’s youth ranks. The 18-year-old right winger that often plays as attacking midfielder made 10 Serie A appearances with Chievo, scoring one goal and assisting another. He was also part of the Primavera squad with whom he made 12 appearances scoring 5 goals.
Vignato started his international career with Brazil U-17 but later decided to represent Italy. He was one of the stars of Italy U-18 scoring 4 goals in 14 appearances. After many transfer rumors, AC Milan finally managed to sign one of the absolutely best young players in the country.
