AC Milan are looking to renovate the defence next season and have targeted Marseille youngster Boubacar Kamara dubbed as the new Thiago Silva.
The new transfer target is Boubacar Kamara, centre back of Marseille that can also play as left back or defensive midfielder. The 19 year old defender is one of the most promising youngsters in France. Kamara has made 20 appearances in Ligue 1 this season and 5 in Europa League. The Marseille starlet also made his debut with the France U-20 national team last year.
Kamara has a contract with the French club until June 2020 and the parties have not yet reached an agreement to renew the current deal. Though the contract situation is a bit difficult Marseille demand 20 million euros for Boubacar. Competition for his services is high with Chelsea, Arsenal and Borussia Dortmund also interested.
According to Calciomercato.com, Kamara is a suggestion of new Rossoneri chief scout Geoffrey Moncada. Currently, Milan have two defenders whose contract expires at the end of the season: Cristian Zapata and Ignazio Abate. The management is looking to rejuvenate the defensive department and the Rossoneri scouts will continue to monitor the 19 year old till the end of the season.

The youngster has received a lot of praise in recent months. The football press in France has been comparing Karama to former Milan great Thiago Silva for his elegance in interventions and the ability to read in advance the movements of the opponent.
