AC Milan aim summer move for Barcelona duo

AC Milan will probably need to sign two full backs when the summer transfer window opens and Maldini is looking at Barcelona for reinforcements.

AC Milan were one of the most active clubs on the January transfer window. The Rossoneri signed Meite, Tomori and Mario Mandzukic, however, the purchase of a new left back was postponed at the end of the season.

The signing of a new full back is sure to happen in the summer but the Rossoneri will likely need two players instead of one. Diogo Dalot has not been fully convincing this season. The Portuguese will return to Manchester in the summer so AC Milan will likely be forced to sign a right back also.

According to calciomercato.com, Paolo Maldini is looking at Barcelona again. In January AC Milan tried to sign Junior Firpo from Barca and the Spanish defender remains on Milan’s orbit. A move in January was impossible because of Firo’s family circumstance but the Spaniard is not at all pleased with his situation and will probably leave at the end of the season.

Another Blaugrana player of interested is Emerson Royal. The Brazilian right back is currently on loan at Real Betis. In six months he will return to Barcelona but may not stay for long.

Paolo Maldini is a big admirer of Emerson. The Rossoneri scouts consider him a similar type of player to Theo Hernandez. Barcelona rate both players at around 20 million euros. While a discount is possible for Firpo, a move for Emerson will surely be expensive.
