From Spain: AC Milan target available at bargain price

AC Milan have expressed their interest in Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio whose contract runs down in one year.

The much expected transfer of Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid at the end of the season will have consequences on the current Los Blancos squad. The arrival of the Paris Saint-Germain superstar will limit the game time of several Madrid players with Marco Asensio likely to pay the most for Mbappe’s signing.

The 26-year-old Spanish right winger will be a big opportunity this summer with Juventus and AC Milan very interested in his services reports El Nacional. Asensio will be available at a discount because his contract with Real expires in one year.

AC Milan plan to sign a new right winger during the summer transfer window. The Rossoneri have struggled for goals in that area with Junior Messias, Alexis Saelemaekers and Samuel Castillejo contributing to a total of seven goals so far. Domenico Berardi has been linked but Asensio’s situation could prove more advantageous for AC Milan.

Marco Asensio has managed to relaunch his career after two disappointing seasons. The Spain international has scored 9 goals and provide one assists in 29 appearances so far helping Real Madrid towards La Liga triumph. The player too, aware of the potential signing of Mbappe and Haaland, is also considering changing club reports El Nacional.

Real Madrid are open to sell Marco Asensio for around 30 million euros according to the Spanish newspaper. Much lower than his real market price. The right winger is currently earning 5 million euros per season. Figures that are in reach of AC Milan’s budget.
