AC Milan have made a tentative inquiry after the English midfielder’s impressive season on loan at Sheffield United.
AC Milan continue to pay special attention to English football. The Rossoneri have signed Fiakyo Tomori and Olivier Giroud while Divock Origi will join the squad once the season is over. However, AC Milan remain attentive with Morgan Gibbs-White the new name on their radar.
According to reports from The Athletic, AC Milan have recently made tentative inquiry about Wolverhampton midfielder Gibbs-White. The 22-year-old attacking midfielder has spent the last season on loan at Sheffield United. Morgan has used the given opportunity to become one of the best players in the Championship.
A regular starter for Sheffield United, Gibbs-White has contributed with 13 goals and 10 assists in 40 appearances. Impressive performances that couldn’t help Sheffield return to the Premier League but have attracted lots of attention for the English midfielder.
Wolverhampton would like to have the 22-year-old on their ranks for the upcoming season but the situation is unclear. The contract of Morgan Gibbs-White with Wolverhampton expires in two years and the English club have yet to agree a contract extension.
Despite the return of Adli and Pobega under Pioli’s orders, AC Milan will likely sign at least another midfielder this summer. The Rossoneri scouts have delivered positive reports on Paolo Maldini’s table for the Wolves youngster. So far Milan are only keeping tabs on the player.
