AC Milan want Barcelona winger to replace Diaz

AC Milan are interested in Spanish winger Ferran Torres who is available on the market for half who what Barcelona paid to Manchester City.

That’s because Torres is nearing the end of his adventure at Camp Nou with first minute chances very limited this season and AC Milan is one of his possible destinations this summer according to a report from Fichajes.

Ferran Torres has the necessary qualities to play in all roles of the attacking trio. The 23-year-old has been deployed 15 times on the left wing, 12 times as a right winger and also has 7 appearances as a centre-forward. His versality is greatly appreciated by the Rossoneri. In addition, AC Milan could land Torres in a cut-price deal.

Barcelona spent €55 million to sign Ferran Torres from Manchester City two years ago but are set to let him go for €30 million. The Spaniards are in a difficult financial situation and desperately need to sell several players. The 23-year-old is also eager to change team following his limited opportunities this season.

On paper, Torres would be the substitute of Brahim Diaz. The Rossoneri still haven’t decided what they will do with the on-loan player for whom Real Madrid are reportedly asking over €20 million for a permanent transfer.
