AC Milan are looking at Napoli for reinforcements offering Ante Rebic as part of a swap deal reports Marca.
Serie A will have a two-week pause due to the international break. Italy will face North Macedonia if the first World Cup qualification match. Macedonia’s biggest name is without a doubt Napoli star Eljif Elmas, who has ended up on AC Milan’s radar for next season.
Elmas has covered every possible role in Napoli’s midfield. The 22-year-old has mostly been deployed as central midfielder scoring 6 goals and providing 6 assists in 39 appearances with Luciano Spalletti’s side. Great performances that have helped Napoli challenge for the Scudetto this season and have attracted the attention of the Rossoneri.
AC Milan are seriously interested in Elmas reports Marca. According to the Spanish newspaper AC Milan are offering Ante Rebic in a swap deal for Eljif Elams. Both player have a market value of 35 million euros according to their respective clubs. The Macedonian gem could be a replacement for Kessie who will join Barcelona at the end of the season.
Talks are at a preliminary phase but Napoli are not very excited from AC Milan’s proposal reports Marca. President Aurelio De Laurentiis is a notorious tough negotiator and would prefer to sell the 22-year-old midfielder rather than swap him with another player.
Rebic has had an underwhelming season so far. The Croatian left winger has missed a lot of game because of injuries. In total, Rebic has made 23 appearances, scoring 3 goals and assisting 2. A disappointing tally for the former Eintracht Frankfurt who had contributed with 20 goals and assists last season.
