AC Milan have completed the signing of highly rated Eintracht midfielder Daichi Kamada beating the competition of other European clubs.

AC Milan are not waiting the start of the summer transfer window in order to plan for next season. The Rossoneri are the most active club on the mercato. Maldini and Massara want to move quickly and anticipate the competition of other clubs for their main targets. At the same time, the management wants to give coach Stefano Pioli a completed squad when pre-season starts.

The Italians have just completed their first transfer for the summer. AC Milan have reach a full agreement to sign Daichi Kamada on a free transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt. The highly sought-after Japanese international will put pen to paper on a five-year contract. Kamada will earn €3 million per season plus bonuses with medicals likely to be completed in early June.

AC Milan defeated the strong competition of Borussia Dortmund, Atletico Madrid and Napoli in the pursuit of Daicha Kamada. Also, the 26-year-old had prioritized a transfer to Milan putting aside the interest of other clubs.  The transfer will be officially completed after Milan secure Champions League qualification for next season.

Daicha Kamada can provide AC Milan when they have continuously lacked in reasons seasons: goals from midfielders. The Japan star is ending the season with 16 goals and 6 assists in 45 appearances across all competitions. Excellent numbers for an attacking midfielder who has an average ratio of goals per minute similar to that of Olivier Giroud.

A very intelligent footballer, Kamada plays in the pocket behind the striker with great creativity. He is great at finding space between the lines and receiving the ball at his feet. Kamada is able to play in a variety of attacking positions and is excellent at using both feet. He picks up good positions and exploits the space in opposition defenses. However, he need to improve in the defensive phase.
