AC Milan have been offered the chance to sign Barcelona promising defender Alejandro Balde by agent Jorge Mendes.
The January transfer window is closely approaching. League football will stop this weekend due to the World Cup that will be held in Qatar this winter. However, AC Milan will take advantage of the domestic football break to concentrate on the transfer market and the Rossoneri are expected to be active.

Jorge Mendes has offered Barcelona starlet Alejandro Balde to AC Milan according to reports. The Portuguese agent is aware that the Italian champions could soon move to find a back-up for Theo Hernandez and is ready to provide a solution. Despite his young age, Balde has featured a lot for Barcelona making 15 appearances and providing 3 assists.
The 19-year-old left Spanish back with notable offensive characteristics is not certain to remain at Barcelona despite Xavi handlining him regular time football. The contract of Balde expires in June 2024 and renewal talks with Mendes have not been fruitful. If something doesn’t change quickly, Barcelona will sell Balde.
The Spaniards are in a difficult financial situation and can’t risk letting a promising player as a free agent. Alejandro Balde has a market value of around €15 million. AC Milan have already done business with Barcelona in the past signing Sergino Dest on loan with an option to make the transfer permanent.
