AC Milan are looking at Chelsea to fix their problems in attack with €40 million rated Armando Broja on their radar.
Once again AC Milan have failed to resolve their systemic problems in attack. The Rossoneri were confident that the arrival of Divock Origi would change the situation but results have been underwhelming so far. The Belgian forward has made 4 appearances for a total of only 81 minutes on the pitch.
Origi’s disappointing form and the age of Ibrahimovic and Giroud means that Milan will add a new striker to their ranks soon. Journalist Carlo Pellegatti reports that a new centre forward was supposed to be AC Milan’s big investment next summer but the club could anticipate his arrival in January with Armando Broja being the primary target.
Broja returned to Chelsea this summer after two successful seasons on loan at Vitesse and Southampton. Chelsea decided to keep him despite numerous offers for the 21-year-old Albanian international. Armando Broja is currently competing with Aubameyang for a starting spot in Chelsea’s eleven.
Broja is considered as one of the brightest talents of the Premier League. Despite his young age, the Albanian striker has over 80 official appearances to his name. Nevertheless, breaking into Chelsea’s elven has not been easy with Thomas Tuchel preferring Aubameyang and Sterling.
The talented striker recently signed a contract extension with Chelsea until 2028 but that doesn’t guarantee his permanence at Stamford Bridge. The market value of Armand Broja is close to €40 million. He is considered a better fit for Pioli’s football than previously mentioned striker like Jonathan David and Noah Okafor.
