AC Milan looking at ex Man City starlet to replace Diaz
AC Milan are looking at Serie B emerging star Adrian Bernabe to replace Diaz. The former City talent is doing great with Parma.
Initially it seemed like the departure of Hakan Calahnoglu would not be felt. Brahim Diaz started the season on a high note scoring and assisting but in the last part of the season the Spaniard has been a shadow has his former self rarely being decisive. AC Milan are considering adding a new attacking midfielder to their ranks and Adrian Bernabe is reportedly on their list.
The 20-year-old former Manchester City starlet is impressing in Serie B with Parma. Bernabe needed some time to make his debut because he underwent surgery at the start of the season, however, he has payed a key role for Parma ever since.
Adrian Bernabe has scored five goals in 12 appearances with Parma. The 20-year-old Spanish midfielder has caught the eye of the Rossoneri scouts who are always attentive to players of this age and talent reports seriebnews.
Adrian Bernabe has been considered a prospect for a long time. He started his career in Barcelona’s famous La Masia academy attracting the attention of Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola. Adrian made only five appearances for City’s first squad while excelling with their Under-23 side.
Manchester City U-23 coach Enzo Maresca brought him in Italy when he took charge at Parma. Besides AC Milan, Juventus, Atalanta, and Sassuolo are keeping tabs on Bernabe according to reports. If Parma’s gem, renown for his clinical free kicks, continues to perform at the same level the number of suitors will only increase.
