With Kaio Jorge likely headed to Juventus, the Rossoneri have identified French striker Randal Kolo Muani as an alternative.
The Kaio Jorge situation has been complicated in the last few hours. The contract of the Brazilian striker expires on 31 December and he has attracted the attention of several clubs. AC Milan have a verbal agreement with the player and his entourage but Juventus have reportedly signed a pre-contract with the player to get him on a free transfer in January.
At this moment, the Bianconeri are clearly in advantage. Milan have been clear from the start with the Brazilian that they will not participate in any bidding wars. Nevertheless, the Rossoneri will not be caught unprepared.
Journalist Carlo Pellegatti confirms that a third striker will arrive. Nantes striker Randal Kolo Muani could be the alternative to Kaio Jorge. The 22-year-old had a great year with Nantes and is available because his contract expires in one year.
Last season, Randal Kolo Muani scored 9 goals and assisted 8 in 37 appearances. Great numbers for the young striker that has also, often, been featured on the right wing. Kolo Muani is a very fast player gifted with great dribbling skills.
Nantes have been unable to extend his contract so Kolo Muani will be sold this summer. The French club are reportedly asking a fee of 10 million euros for the 22-year-old striker.
