Defender confirms advanced talks with AC Milan

Omar Alderete could become a new central defender of AC Milan with the Rossoneri in concrete talks with Basel and his agent.

AC Milan will almost certainly make three signings in defense. The Rossoneri are in search of a right back, a left back (back up for Theo Hernandez) and a central defender. As for the latter role, Omar Alderete also appears to be on the list of targets.

The 23-year-old Paraguay defender plays in Switzerland with Basel. Alderete joined Basel last summer from the Argentine team of Huracan.
