Official: AC Milan sign Milos Kerkez

In the last day of the January transfer window AC Milan have completed the signing a new left back Milos Kerkez.

The January transfer window has just closed. Without doubt AC Milan were the most active Italian team among those fighting for the Scudetto. Even in the last day of the mercato Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara completed another signing.

AC Milan have just announced the purchase Milos Kerkez from ETO FC Gyor. The 17-year-old Hungarian left back is expected to play with Milan Primavera until the end of the season.

AC Milan have beaten Juventus for the the services of Milos Kerkez. The talented left-back was in Italy today and signed his contract with the Rossoneri. Paolo Maldini’s intervention was crucial in convincing Kerkez to reject offers from others clubs.

The fans were indeed expecting the signing of a new left back but some of them may be disappointed by the name of Kerkez. For a long time the club was in search of a new left beck that could serves as Theo Hernandez’s back.

Numerous targets were considered but at the end of the Rossoneri decided not to make a move for either. The arrival of a new defender was been postponed for the summer. Until the end of the season it will be Diogo Dalot to be used again on the left while Pierre Kalulu will play on the right.
