AC Milan have sets their sights on Lovro Majer. The Dinamo Zagreb star is being hailed as the next Luka Modric in Croatia.

AC Milan have shown that they are very attentive to young talents from all over the world with their scouting work. Among the many promising players being followed by the Rossoneri there is also Lovro Majer.

Many consider Majer the ‘next Luka Modric’. The 22-year-old midfielder is obviously Croatian and is showing his skills with the Dinamo Zagreb jersey, just like Modric in the past. The Croatian has a keen eye for goals and assists and plays as attacking midfielder and playmaker.

The Dinamo Zagreb number 10 is establishing himself as one of Croatian football’s best talents. He made his debut with the national team as a teenager back in 2017 and now Majer’s form has seen him linked with several top clubs.

Liverpool, Borussia Dortmund, Fiorentina, Leeds, Valencia and Sevilla are interested in Lovro Majer, including the Rossoneri. AC Milan have been watching the Dinamo Zagreb star recently and Paolo Maldini reportedly observed his performance in yesterday’s Europa League match against Feyenoord.

The season has started on a high note for the 22-year-old midfielder. In 10 appearances with Dinamo Zagreb so far, Majer has scored 3 goals and has assisted another 3. The Croatian’s contract with Zagreb expires in 2023.
