AC Milan are looking again in Brazil with Sao Paulo star Igor Liziero being a concrete transfer target for the midfield.
After signing Lucas Paqueta and Leo Duarte last season, AC Milan are looking again in Brazilian for potential purchases. Globoesporte reports that the Rossoneri are interested in Igor Liziero.
It seems that the Red and Blacks have been following Liziero for quite a while and he’s a concrete transfer target to improve the midfield. The 22-year-old technically gifted midfielder plays for Sao Paulo.
Until now, according to Brazilian sources, Milan have yet to make an official offer for Liziero. Instead, the Rossoneri have inquired through intermediaries to understand Sao Paulo’s plans for their central midfielder and his price tag.
The Rossoneri talent-scouts have recommended the signing of Liziero to the management. But their is competition for the Brazilian. It seems that Eric Abidal, Barcelona’s sporting director, is also interested in Igor, considered one of the best midfielders in Brazil.
The Brazilian talent has an Italian passport, therefore he would not occupy any of the non-EU slots. The Sao Paulo midfielder has a 50 million euros release clause but his price is negotiable.
