Benfica name price tag for Milan target

AC Milan have contacted Benfica to inquire about Gedson Fernandes. The talented central midfielder is available for 30 million euros.

MILAN TRANSFER NEWS – According to reports from Sky Sport, negotiations continue between technical Paolo Maldini and Bennacer’s agent to agree the last contract details of the Algerian midfielder. Ismael Bennacer is currently playing in Africa’s Cup of Nations.

At the same time Maldini is concentrated on signing a centre back and another central midfielder. Lovren is a possibility according to Sky but not a convincing one. While regarding the midfield, AC Milan have shifted their attention from Veretout to Gedson Fernandes.

The presence of former Milan legend Rui Costa at Benfica could facilitate the transfer of the young Portuguese midfielder.

Juventus and Manchester United are reportedly interested in his services but, unlike AC Milan, so far neither of this clubs has contacted Benfica.
