AC Milan have reignited their interest in Gremio star Everton Soares who could be the last signing of the Rossoneri in January.
Very few days remain till the end of the January transfer window. So far AC Milan have spent 70 million euros for the purchase of Lucas Paqueta and Piatek and the club has also signed three very promising youngsters for the Primavera squad. Now Leonardo must think for one last signing in attack.
There are several profiles the Brazilian sporting director is chasing but each has specific problems. Gerard Deulofeu would gladly return to Milan but Watford demand 25 million euros to let him go. Yannick Ferreira-Carrasco is a more feasible option but he wants a very high salary. On the other hand Club Brugge asks 15 million for Arnaut Groenevel and what’s more importantly he is currently out injured.
That’s why Leonardo is considering Everton Soares of Gremio reports Tuttosport. The 22 year old left winger was one of the best players in Brazil last season and a number of clubs are interested in his services.
Leonardo followed Everton closely in November when he was scouting Lucas Paqueta and the young Brazilian impressed him with his technique and goal scoring abilities. Everton closed 2018 with 17 goals in 43 appearances. Gremio could be open to a loan with the right to buy at a figure of 20-30 million euros but only if Milan move quickly .
