AC Milan have completed the signing of highly-rated left winger Chaka Traore. The 16-year-old has already made his Serie A debut.
Without a doubt AC Milan are the most active Italian club on the summer mercato. So far, the Rossoneri have invested more than 60 million euros to sign a number of players. Paolo Maldini has worked a lot to strengthen the first team but also to sign several young players with great potential.
Today, AC Milan have purchased highly-rated left winger Chaka Traore. The 16-year-old joins the Rossoneri from Parma for a transfer fee of 600 thousand euros plus bonuses. In addition, AC Milan will also pay Parma a future sale percentage.
Chaka Traore will play for AC Milan Primavera this season. The flamboyant left winger had attracted the attention of many European top clubs with his great performances with the Parma youngsters. Last season, Traore scored 11 goals and provided 9 assists in 21 appearances.
On 10 April 2021 Chaka Traore made his Serie A debut in a 1-3 loss against his new club AC Milan. At the same time the 16-year-old become the first 2004-born player to play an official Serie A match. He was also on the pitch against Lazio and Sampdoria that season. Important milestones for the Ivorian-born wonderkid who has chosen Italy as his national team.
The Rossoneri have high hopes for the former Parma starlet who could have a brilliant career ahead of him. Hopefully he will be able soon to taste first team football if everything goes fine with the Primavera squad. The management and the scouts are quite confident.
