After the huge success of Piatek, AC Milan have targeted 16 year old Polish wonderkid Bartosz Zynek of Zaglebie Lubin.
The impact of Kyszsztof Piatek at AC Milan has been devastating. The former Genoa star has scored 6 goals in his first 5 outings for the San Siro side immediately becoming a fan favorite. But soon a compatriot could follow in his footsteps.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan has set their sight on Bartosz Zynek, a very young Polish midfielder. Born in 2002, he is an attacking midfielder with excellent technical skills. Zynek plays with Zaglebie Lubin U-19, the same club where Piatek debuted in Ekstraklasa before moving to Cracovia. La Gazzetta reports that Rossoneri scouts have followed him closely on several occasions, both with the national Under 17 team and with his club.
Bartosz Zynek grew up in the Queens Park Rangers academy before returning to Poland last summer. He is a reference point of the U-17 Poland team. Investing in young youth players has become a key strategy in club’s plans. After 4 important signings for the Primavera team in January, Milan will continue to invest even during the summer.
The 16 year old midfielder was named last December best player of the memorial Petar Kalinic Clio, played in Croatia. His team, Zaglebie Lubin, lost in the final against Dinamo Zagreb. In short, Zynek is highlighting his qualities and has caught the eye of Leonardo. Hopefully he can follow in the footsteps of compatriot Kris Piatek.
