AC Milan closing in on Italy star
AC Milan are about to complete the signing of Alessandro Florenzi from Roma. The Italian will join on an initial loan.
AC Milan need just one signing to complete the defence and it’s just a matter of time before the new right back arrives. Diogo Dalot will not be returning to Italy. The Portuguese will stay at Manchester United because of their high asking price. The Rossoneri have shifted their focus to Alessandro Florenzi.
AC Milan have made a brief blitz for the Roma player. The 30-year-old returned after his successful loan spell at PSG and is on the market to find a new club.
Paolo Maldini has met with Florenzi’s agent Alessandro Lucci and the parties have agreed personal terms. The Italian full-back wants to continue his career in Serie A and is pushing to join AC Milan.
The Rossoneri are currently in negotiations with Roma. AC Milan would like to sign Alessandro Florenzi on loan with the option to buy that can become a obligation in case of Champions League qualification. According to journalist Carlo Pellegatti, Roma are open to let Florenzi leave under these conditions and the transfer may be completed in the coming 48 hours.
Alessandro Florenzi has a vast experience in Serie A. The 30-year-old right back is a player that gives a great contribution in attack scoring many goals and providing assists. He was part of the Italian national team that was crowned European champions this summer.
