AC Milan in advanced contacts with Argentine star

AC Milan have opened talks with Racing Club de Avellaneda young star Matias Zaracho. The Argentine international is being sponsored by Diego Milito.

La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms that AC Milan with are in contacts with Zaracho. The 21-year-old trequartista plays for Racing Club de Avellaneda and is one of the most interesting talents in Argentina. Matias Zaracho has made 63 overall appearances in the last two years, scoring 6 goals and providing 5 assists.

The talented midfielder made his debut with the Argentine national team in a friendly match against Morocco in March. The young age is on his side and the player has a lot of room for improvement.

Diego Milito, sporting director of Racing Club de Avellaneda, is in continuous contacts with Milan. Zaracho’s agent has already talked with the Rossoneri and the parties have scheduled a meeting soon. Racing value Zaracho at 20 million euros, a figure that the Rossoneri can lower if they act quickly and anticipate the competition of other clubs. Otherwise, there is a risk of a bidding war with Atletico Madrid and Porto very interested in his services.

Diego Milito sponsored a move for Lauraro Martinez to Inter last year and is doing the same with  Zaracho to AC Milan this summer. Racing Club are open to sell their most prized asset to the Rossoneri. Matias can also play as winger or second striker.
