AC Milan scouts have been spotted in the Premier League watching Crystal Palace star Wilfried Zaha.

In the next transfer window, AC Milan will have to intervene to strengthen the squad and the Rossoneri are looking for a new winger. The gap with the top clubs of Serie A has narrowed and, therefore, with the right signings Milan hope to level the playing field. Paolo Maldini is well aware of the situation and how important the next mercato will be.

According to recent reports the Rossoneri are looking in the Premier League, a championship that is always full of talents. AC Milan scouts have been caught at Selhurst Park to follow the match between Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion, which ended 1-0 for the hosts. Apparently, the reason for the Rossoneri scouts’ trip to England would be the Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha.

The Sun reports that AC Milan have been paying special attention to Zaha since December. The 28-year-old winger, that has often played in the centre forward role this season, is considered one of the best players in the Premier League.

Wilfried Zaha is a player with similar characteristics to Rafael Leao but the difference is in their goal scoring abilities. The former Manchester United starlet has scored 9 goals and assisted 2 in 21 Premier League appearances.

Since his return at Crystal Palace, Zaha has literally exploded. It is no coincidence that the English club has put a 70 million euros release clause in his contract that lasts until 2023. Besides AC Milan, Everton e Chelsea are two other clubs very interested in his services.
