Jose Sosa is just a step away from leaving Milan. Trabzonspor have made a new proposal offering the player a much improved contract.
New episode in the negotiations for Jose Ernesto Sosa. According to the latest rumors reported by Sky Sport 24, the Turkish side of Trabzonspor would further raise the offer to the player, who now seems to be willing to accept.
AC Milan, therefore, with the summer transfer window closed in Italy from a few days, could make a last sale, thus releasing a redundant player who would hardly find space during the season. The rossoneri will earn a figure of around 6 million euros for the 32 year old Argentine midfielder. Between the two clubs, there already is an agreement, reached earlier and now there will be no problems if Jose Sosa actually says yes to this move.
The red and blacks had loosed hope and seemed to have surrendered, so manager Vincenzo Montella was forced to put him on the official UEFA list for the Europa League (read here). His possible sale, if confirmed, will be an additional opportunity for some youngsters who joined the first team in the past few months. In addition to Manuel Locatelli, already in the first team since the last season, the various Nicolo Zanellato or Matteo Gabbia could have more chances to play if and when Montella considers it appropriate. Furthermore Jose Sosa’s sale would be good business for Milan who would make a nice profit and save 1,5 millions per season for an element deemed not useful to the technical-tactical project of Montella.
