Now that the January transfer window is officially opened here are the biggest stars AC Milan can sign for free but can join in the summer.

A third return at San Siro with the Red and Black jersey? Unlikely but it is a possibility. Mario Balotelli was close to leaving Nice a few months ago but he failed to agree a deal with interested clubs, especially Marseille.
The Italy international was a Rossoneri player for three seasons. His first spell at San Siro was very productive with Balotelli scoring 30 goals in 54 appearances before being sold to Liverpool for 20 million euros. His return on loan proved to be a disaster and Super Mario bagged only 3 goals throughout the season.
Unlikely because even though he would be a cheap choice for the attack and doesn’t need any time to adapt, the problem is his agent. The new management is keeping a correct relationship with Mino Raiola but they have no intention of adding any of his clients in their books.
