Tomori is the defender with the biggest market value increase in Europe
The great performances of the AC Milan defender Fikayo Tomori have seen his market value increase a lot.
Without a doubt, Fikayo Tomori is one of AC Milan’s most successful signing of recent years. The Rossoneri number 23 arrived from Chelsea and has formed a rock solid partnership with Simon Kjaer in Stefano Pioli’s eleven.
The 23-year-old English centre back initially joined on loan and was signed permanently after his great performances in the second half of last season. AC Milan spent around €29 million to purchase Tomori from Chelsea making him one of the most expensive signings in the club’s history.
At the same time Fikayo has become one of the strongest defenders in Serie A. Not surprisingly, Transfermarkt has included Tomori among the players in Europe whose market value has increased the most due to their fine performances.
The well-known site that deals with data, statistics and economic values of footballed has compiled the Top-11 of the players whose market value has increased the most in the last month.
Impossible not to include Tomori whose market value is now 40 million euros according to Transfermarkt with an increase of 12 million compared to last month’s value. A calculation that is based on the level of his performance and on the data collected in the last few weeks.
Another Serie A footballer, the Roma full-back Matias Vina (former AC Milan target) makes the cut. The back line is completed by Ben White, Ramsdale and Hakimi. Gavi, Bellingham and Havertz dominate the midfield while Haaland, Grealish and Yeremi Pino complete the top 11.
