Journalist Mauro Suma reports that AC Milan have agreements for the signing of Divock Origi, Sven Botman and Renato Sanches.
AC Milan have completed the change of ownership from Elliott Management to RedBird Capital. The entire management team will remains and sign new contracts. Now it’s time for the Rossoneri to focus on the summer transfer window with Paolo Maldini determined to build a competitive squad for next season.
AC Milan must be in a position to win back-to-back Scudetto titles and at the same time advance significantly in the knock-out stage in Champions. Mauro Suma, with a special video on his Youtube channel, reports that AC Milan’s mercato strategy will not change despite the departure of Elliott.
Suma confirms that Origi, Botman and Renato Sanches will be AC Milan’s first three summer signings. “I believe that the beams of our purchasing campaign will not change. The names of Origi, Botman and Renato Sanches seem to me now all in all sanctioned. Then it is clear that until we see the official signature everything can happened but it seems to me that they are very well advanced operations.”
Divock Origi was expected to arrive in Milan immediately after the Champions League final but a physical problem postponed everything. However, it is just a matter of time. Everything is closed for the arrival of the Belgian striker who will sign a four-year contract at 3.5 million per season.
AC Milan have an agreement with Sven Botman since January while his transfer is expected to cost around 30 million. The final green light is needed from RedBird in order to complete his purchase. His teammate, Renato Sanches, may follow Botman at Milan. Significant progress has been made with his agent Jorge Mendes while the transfer fee is not a problem. The signing of Sanches may be completed in the next days.
