Next AC Milan coach Ralf Rangnick will find a promising Rossoneri squad and that’s thanks to the good work of Stefano Pioli.
Ralf Rangnick is ready to start his adventure with the Rossoneri. An AC Milan, which for the first time in several years, will not be called to totally revolutionize its team. There are many players to start from and the German coach can only thank Stefano Pioli for the work done at Milanello so far.
There are a few players who have a guaranteed future with the Rossoneri from many years to come starting from the defence. Gigio Donnarumma will be a fixed point even in the future with his contract ready to be extended at least until 2023.
No doubts also about Theo Hernandez and Alessio Romagnoli, true pillars of AC Milan. Simon Kjaer will be part of Milan for another two years but he’s expected to serve as a mentor for Romagnoli and the new centre back hat is expected to arrive in the summer. On the right it will be Rangnick to chose the new full back with Dumfries and Emerson the top candidates.
The transfer market will certainly not change the midfield as much as initially expected. After the lockdown Milan has discovered a real dam at the midfield center with Bennacer and Kessie being untouchable. The good news forward is the regeneration of Hakan Calhanoglu, a pillar and increasingly a leader and by Rebic. The management has every intention of making the signing of the Croatian permanent.
Samu Castillejo, Alexis Saelemaekers and Rafael Leao will not be touched but the feeling is that the biggest investments will be made in attack to add quality and goals.
The growth of AC Milan, in its elements, is certainly also thanks to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, true technical and charismatic leader of the team. If he remained he would certainly represent another strong point for Rangnick but unfortunately that won’t be the case.
