Sky: Yonghong Li changes his mind, Milan sale at risk

In a sensational turn of events AC Milan president Yonghong Li has changed his mind on the club’s sale. Commisso takeover may not happen after all.

Clamorous news regarding the corporate front, with the majority of the club’s shares at the center of important negotiations. According to last minute reports from Sky Sports, in fact, the operation for the passage of a large part of the corporate package (around 80%) in the hands of Rocco Commisso could fall though. While the parties seemed very close to announcing an agreement now everything is at risk.

In fact, just a few minutes ago Li Yonghong changed his mind and the conditions previously agreed with the American tycoon, it’s possible that he could already in advanced negotiations with another subject. Tomorrow’s ultimatum by Commisso remains unchanged, but the feeling is that the Italian-born businessman may not be the new owner of AC Milan.

Mr. Li is trying to play a hard game. Moreover the Rossoneri president would be thinking about the payment of 32 million euros to the Elliott fund, extending his “life” as the number one of AC Milan and opening an auction for the sale of club. A move that would be anything but genius to UEFA whic in the coming hours is expected to confirm AC Milan’s ban from Europa League for one season.
