Milan vs Juventus, probable lineups
AC Milan will face Juventus tonight at San Siro. Both clubs are looking for a win that would bring them closer to Inter.
The Rossoneri will host Juventus at San Siro, tonight at 20:45 CET. Milan vs Juventus will be the main event of the 23-rd round of Serie A. The Rossoneri need to bounce back after the scandalous match against Spezia and not lose sight of Inter. On the other hand, the Bianconeri have recovered a lot of ground lately.
Finally, for Milan vs Juventus, coach Stefano Pioli will have a couple of players back under his orders. Davide Calabria has fully recovered and will start from the first minute on the right side of the defence. Romagnoli is back and will partner with Pierre Kalulu in the middle with Theo Hernandez completing the back four.
Algeria have been eliminated from AFCON so Ismael Bennacer is back at Milanello and available for Juventus. Sandro Tonali is sure to start from the first minute but the name of his partner is Pioli’s biggest doubt. The coach seems oriented to trust Rade Krunic again with Bennacer likely to make an appearances in the second half.
There will be one significant change up front. Pioli could throw Junior Messias from the star, in advantage over Alexis Saelemaekers on the right wing. Rafael Leao will play on the left while Brahim Diaz is untouchable in the attacking midfielder role.
During the week it looked like Oliver Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic had equal chances to start against Juventus. The French striker has been in fine form lately but Pioli has decided to rely again on Ibrahimovic despite his disappointing performance against Spezia.
