AC Milan vs Verona, probable lineups

AC Milan face Hellas Verona tonight at San Siro. Pioli will be without several key players but victory is the objective.

The international break was supposed the ease the injuries situation at Casa Milan but it only made things worse. Coach Stefano Pioli will not have under his orders several key players for Milan vs Verona with Theo Hernandez, Brahim Diaz and Mike Maignan being the last to join the list.

Nevertheless, three points are the objective of the Rossoneri tonight. Due to the injuries and Covid situation, Pioli is forced to make several changes to his usual starting eleven starting from the defence.

Davide Calabria is back but Pioli doesn’t want to risk the Italian right back from the first minute so Kalulu will start in Milan vs Verona. With Theo out, Fode Ballo-Tourr will replace the French left-back. Fikayo Tomori will form the central duo with captain Alessio Tomori. Cipirian Tatarusanu will protect the goal.

No changes in midfield with Sandro Tonali destined to start alongside Franck Kessie. Up front, Daniel Maldini is set to make his San Siro debut this season. The young Maldini will replace Brahim Diaz with Ante Rebic on the left and Alexis Saelemaekers on the right. The good news is the return of Olivier Giroud who will lead the attack. Ibrahimović is finally available.

AC MILAN (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Tomori, Romagnoli, Ballo-Toure; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Daniel Maldini, Rebic (Leao); Giroud.

HELLAS VERONA (3-4-2-1): Montipò; Dawidowicz, Gunter, Casale; Faraoni, Tameze, Veloso, Lazovic; Caprari, Barak; Simeone.
