Serginho gives AC Milan green light to sign Brazilian star
AC Milan have increased their presence in Brazil and Fluminense striker Pedro Guilherme is one of the names being linked with the Rossoneri.
Since the appointment of Leonardo as AC Milan sporting director the Rossoneri are paying close attention to South American talents especially in Brazil. There are at least six players that the Red and Blacks are monitoring intensively and one of the most interesting names is Fluminense star striker Pedro Guilherme.
According to SportMediaset, the 21 year old centre forward has performed so well this season that he has impressed not only Leonardo but also Serginho. The former Rossoneri left back acts as the club’s scout in Brazil.
After a long period of scouting, Serginho seems convinced about the abilities of the Fluminense striker and is preparing to give his green light to the new management to make an official offer. A figure of around 25 million euros would be enough to bring Pedro at San Siro.
Pedro, who had scored 12 goals in 23 appearances this season before suffering an injury (cruciate ligament rupture), is one of the most promising and in-demand youngsters in Brazil. The Fluminense management have repeatedly declared that due to financial problems they are forced to sell and the 21 year old striker Guilherme is their most prized asset.
