Ribery backs AC Milan for Scudetto win and dedicates it to special player

French champions Franck Ribery expresses his preference for the Scudetto race in Serie A and has nice words for Ibrahimovic.

AC Milan, Inter and Napoli are the three contenders for the Serie A title this season. The three clubs have a difference of just two points but the Nerazzurri still having to recover a match against Bologna. It is difficult to predict which of the three will win the Scudetto. Inter, who are champions in-charge, are considered favorites. The Nerazzurri have more experience and are also having less bad luck with injuries. But Milan and Napoli will give everything until the end of the championship to prevail.

Franck Ribery, who after his experience with Fiorentina remained in Italy and hopes to save Salernitana from relegation to Serie B, commented on the Scudetto race. The French champion has a favorite club and says it openly: “For the Scudetto I would say Milan, also for Ibrahimovic. He deserves it as a person and as a player, for what he has done in his career. I would like it if AC Milan were to win above all for him“.

Ribery hopes that Stefano Pioli’s team will enjoy the final triumph in Serie A. The 38-year-old left winger says he values Zlatan Ibrahimovic a lot and would be happy to see him lift the Scudetto trophy. An award also to a great career made up of many trophies and to which it would be nice to add another at the age of 40.

Speaking of the former Bayer Munich star, in the past his name was linked with a move to AC Milan. Carlo Ancelotti pushed for Ribery’s signing when he was still sitting on the Rossoneri bench and the player wore the Marseille shirt. According to reports, Gennaro Gattuso in 2019 also asked to sign Ribery before leaving the club.

The French winger is now at the twilight of his career but he still has some classy flashes of talent to offer the public. Saving Salernitana is a complicated mission but Franck will give everything as he always has.
