AC Milan winger Ante Rebic suffered an injury in the 55th minute against Crotone and was latter sent to the hospital.
AC Milan grab another valuable win. After the double in the Europa League preliminary round, the Rossoneri secure their second win in the league with the same result 2-0.
Shortly before the end of the first half Ante Rebic was awarded a penalty that was transformed in goal by Franck Kessie. Brahim Diaz scored the second goal but a few minutes latter Rebic was forced to leave the pitch.
According to reports by MilanNews.it, the Croatian winger has suffered a dislocation of his left elbow, promptly fixed in the locker room by the Rossoneri doctors. The player was then immediately taken to the Crotone hospital where he is undergoing further medicals exams.
Over the next few hours, the doctors will have a more complete diagnosis and it will also be possible to have the potential recovery times of the player who, in fact, will miss next week’s match against Spezia while in Europa League, against Rio Ave, he is still suspended.
Coach Stefano Pioli was asked about Rebic’s condition in the press conference after the match. “Now we recover our energies. We hope that Rebic will not have a long-term injury. There seems to be no fracture so that’s a very good news“.
