Real Madrid are willing to let Brahim Diaz stay at AC Milan for longer and have offered the Rossoneri two options.
Despite a bit of skepticism when he joined AC Milan, Brahim Diaz is slowly beginning to prove his worth. The young Spanish talent has great potential and is finally showing it at San Siro.
Diaz found very little space at Real Madrid last season, so there were doubts if he really had what it takes to compete at the highest levels. There were sceptics who thought that perhaps the Rossoneri had made a mistake in betting on a player who was still immature, but the choice is turning out to be correct. The problem is another: the transfer formula.
AC Milan signed Brahim Diaz from Real Madrid on a dry loan. This means that the Blancos will take the player back at the end of the season, thanking the Rossoneri for having enhanced his value. Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara failed to include a buy option in the loan agreement.
However, Milan have obtained from Real Madrid the opportunity to re-discuss the future of the Spanish talent. Corriere dello Sport reports that in the coming weeks there will be a meeting to discuss the permanent transfer of Brahim Diaz with Real Madrid offering two options.
The Spanish giants are ready to sell Brahim immediately for 25 million euros, but a deal must be completed before the end of the season, or else renew the loan agreement for one more year. The Rossoneri management are seriously considering their next move and Champions League qualification would allow the club to spend such a figure.
