Real Betis 1-1 AC Milan, Goals & Highlights
The Rossoneri continue their streak of positive results with a 1-1 draw against Real Beits. The Spaniards prove too much for a halved AC Milan squad from many injuries. A result that should please the Rossoneri, all things considered.
Without the services of Caldara, Calabria, Biglia, Bonaventura, Higuain and Castillejo (suspended) coach Gattuso is in a tight spot and is forced to invent a new games system. Musacchio, Zapata and Ricardo Rodriguez play for the first time together in defense while Borini starts as right midfielder with Suso behind Cutrone as second striker.
Gattuso’s boys are in great difficult in the first half with Real Betis clear masters of the pitch. The early advantage of Spaniards makes things worse and the Rossoneri are unable to react.
Thankfully things change gradually in the second half and Suso’s fantastic free kick goal injects the necessary courage to try for something more in the remaining minutes of the match. A positive 1-1 draw, now it’s time to think of Juventus.
