Next AC Milan coach Ralf Rangnick was in Austria yesterday to personally scout 25 million rated Hungarian midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai.
Dominik Szoboszlai continues to score at a regular rate in Austria. Yesterday, Red Bull Salzburg’s talent scored in his team’s 5-2 victory against Sturm Graz. Ralf Rangnick, the man chosen by Elliot to lead AC Milan next season, was at the stadium personally scouting his top transfer target and what he saw was more than positive.
The Hungarian left midfielder found the top corner with a splendid free-kick which marked the momentary 3-0 in the 73rd minute. Yesterday’s victory allowed the Red Bull-owned club to win the national title in advanced.
Szoboszlai has been the great protagonist of this triumph with 8 goals and 13 assists in the league. Red Bull Salzburg are aware that in the next transfer window they will lose their gem but in the meantime they are enjoying his final displays.
Some of the most prestigious European clubs are on his tracks including the Rossoneri. AC Milan are in contacts with the player, his agents and Red Bull Salzburg since January but haven’t been unable to complete a deal even though, according to several reports, it’s just a matter of time. However, the Rossoneri must be careful o Napoli’s advances with Gennaro Gatuso ready to snatch him from the Rossoneri.
AC Milan have reportedly offered 20 million euros for the talented left midfielder while Salzburg are open to sell him at 25 million. Nevertheless, his price tag is not excessive. The presence of Rangnick at Milan for next season could be decisive in the player’s final decision.
